WARRANTY AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR CASTLEFORT BAR LEANER AND STOOLS
Thank you for purchasing this Castlefort Bar Leaner. This Bar Leaner has been created by our Cabinet Making team using a variety of Timbers, including recycled Timbers and treated/untreated Timbers. We then finish our Bar Leaners with premium Stain/Varnish coats.
CLEANING: Wiping down your Bar leaner with a damp cloth is best and we wouldn’t recommend using any harsh cleaners.
ADJUSTABLE FEET & STICK-ON PADS: We have included some replacement small stick-on pads for the underside of the Lid. If any rocking occurs, just turn the screw-in adjustable feet to balance the Bar Leaner (To avoid damaging your Lid, make sure you take your Lid out before you tip your Leaner to adjust the feet - In case it falls out!)
RE-STAINING: If you ever wish to re-stain your Bar Leaner, we recommend and use Bondall Monocell Cedar or Walnut Stain/Varnish finish. This can be found at Bunnings Stores. Simply wipe down your Bar Leaner (so it is free from any dirt and grease etc) and very lightly sand with a fine 240 to 280 grit sandpaper and re-coat.
REPLACEMENT OF PLASTIC BOX: These 30 Litre plastic Hobby boxes are purchased from Mitre 10 stores.
Please note that Castlefort Furniture has no control over the supply of these containers and is not responsible or liable if the supply of these containers are ever discontinued.
ALIGNMENT OF THE LID IN THE BAR LEANER TOP: The Lid is designed to fit a certain way and there is a small brass screw inset in the side of the Lid and the inside of the Bar Leaner which, when aligned, will give the best fit.
5-YEAR WORKMANSHIP FURNITURE WARRANTY INFORMATION:
To keep your Furniture (This includes Bar Leaners and Timber Top Stools) looking in really great condition for as long as possible, they are designed to be kept indoors or under adequate Roofing cover and out of the weather. Please note that the Warranty will be voided if Furniture is left outside in the weather as New Zealand’s harsh Sun and the rain/cold will eventually destroy the Stain/Varnish finish and warping, splitting or rotting of the Timber can also occur. STOOLS: The Powder Coated Metal Stools with Timber Tops have a 150kg weight limit, are for indoor use only and are not designed for Commercial use. The Metal base of the stool has a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty only.
5-YEAR WORKMANSHIP FURNITURE WARRANTY DOESN'T COVER ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
Weather damage, moisture damage, insect damage, exposure to excess heat/cold, minor cracking/splitting and movement from changes in moisture content of the Timber and normal wear and tear. Please only lift the Bar Leaner when moving it, as dragging it could damage the base.
REPAIRS:
Any repairs are to be done at our Workshop and all freight to and from our Workshop for the Furniture item being repaired is to paid by the Customer.
TIMBER MOVEMENT:
All Timber (being a natural product) will expand and contract with the Seasons because of changes in humidity from heat and the cold, which in turn affects the moisture content in the Timber. This is unavoidable and some movement in the Timber of your Furniture is to be expected. As we have used some recycled Timber in your Furniture, some small cracking and splitting could also appear. This will simply add to the Rustic look of the Bar Leaner/Stool and should not affect the structural integrity.
